Relationship Challenges

The unique barriers that 2SLGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and disabled humans encounter when trying to access the affirming mental health care that they deserve. What it’s like to navigate the world with complex trauma, chronic pain and neurodivergence and the journey toward self-acceptance. My lived experience has shaped my practice to be deeply relational, non-pathologizing, identity affirming, trauma- and structurally informed. I embrace nonlinearity to create a truly accessible, inclusive approach for those who have felt unsupported by the rigidity of traditional Western psychology.
I am a white settler with European ancestry. I acknowledge my privilege as a settler whose ancestors chose to settle on the land that I currently reside and the ways I benefit from the ongoing impact of colonization. I honour the lived experience and cultural and ancestral wisdom of those I work alongside. I am committed to the ongoing practice of decolonization through continued learning, unlearning, reflection and material everyday action.
