We offer practicum positions ongoing, and depending on your specific school & deadlines we are accepting applications for May 2025, January September 2025 terms actively and will reach out for interviews closer to term deadlines.

We are a team of 2SLGBTQ+ identified and allied psychotherapists dedicated to providing a wide range of services, including individual, relationship and family therapy. Additionally, we offer workshops and consultation to allied organizations, all through intersectional, anti-oppressive lens’.

We are seeking practicum students who have a strong interest in supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community, who value anti-oppressive and intersectional approaches to mental health and want a flexible and collaborative space to learn and grow!

Practicum at Rainbow Counselling is dependent on your individual program's learning goals.
The practicum position is completely virtual with opportunity to tailor your unique scheduling needs to best support your personal circumstances.
Rainbow Counselling offers biweekly Peer Space Drop ins for all team members, with ability to learn from more experienced & senior therapists as well as other students.
We offer additional training opportunities for practicum students to expand learning around various therapy modalities and private practice.

Yorkville MACP Students: supervision is completely subsidized and supported by a Rainbow Counselling approved external clinical supervisor.
BSW & MSW Students: supervision is completely subsidized and supported on site with the Clinical Director.
